This narrow copper-alloy bracelet was found in the same area as the iconic Langeid Sword. The parallel rows of deep set, and angular facets make for striking decoration. We have chosen a cartoon-like depiction to show them off.

The bracelet was discovered in a womans grave in 1957. It was part of a larger burial field deep into a southern Norwegian valley. The woman was laid to rest with a pair of bracelets, typical Viking Age oval brooches, more than 60 beads, a spiral chain in bronze and an equal-armed brooch. She also had several tools including weaving swords that would come in handy for producing textile.
