A triangular plaque/plate made of gilded silver was found in the Goths cemetery in Masłomęcz. It features the face of a man in a helmet. Around it, there are schematic images of dolphins and the heads of birds of prey with bulging eyes and giant beaks, seen from above. Archaeologists branded this find “ancient biker.” This type of depictions, including on various types of items, are to be found primarily in Scandinavia and in the wetland archaeological site in Illerup, Denmark, associated with Germanic tribes.
