Slightly deformed, spherical pendant made of gold. It has a wide lug, its body misses the bottom section. It is lavishly decorated using the filigree and granulation techniques. The main decorative motif covering the entire body imitates fields or triangles alternately roughened and smoothed. It typifies the hand-made ceramics of the Wielbark culture. The roughness effects is achieved by means of granulation and filigree that fill the triangles also surrounded with filigree. The smoothened fields are not decorated. The triangles are arranged in two rows, their bases resting on an all-round beaded wire attached to the widest section of the body. Before, only two spherical, gold pendants had been found in the region. The one from Ubrodowice should most likely be dated to the earliest stage of settlement of the Wielbark culture or the Masłomęcz group (Goths) in today’s Lubelskie.
